Above Llanthony

A3 Limited edition signed giclée print, edition of 20. This print is taken from a watercolour, gouache and ink work. 

It is a view above Llanthony, a village and priory in Monmouthshire. I grew up near here for part of my childhood, spending a lot of time in rivers, up hills, and camping in this very valley. I painted this last summer as we walked the Black Mountains. I became intrigued by these trees, possibly the remnants of a garden that once grew here - with old stones scattered around. The ground under the trees was alive with mining bees and there was the scent of warm bracken. 

Note that a percentage of all my profits goes to charity and towards funding other artists.
